Partizan Belgrade found the replacement of Nigel Williams-Goss.

Partizan Belgrade announced the signing of American point guard Marcus Paige. This will be the 24-year-old player’s first venture in Europe and will find him competing in both EuroCup and ABA League.

Paige replaces Nigel Williams-Goss (now an Olympiacos player) in the roster of the Serbian club.

Per EuroCup Basketball:

“Partizan NIS Belgrade found a new point guard in Marcus Paige, who signed a two-year deal with the 7DAYS EuroCup powerhouse on Wednesday. Paige (1.85 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Greensboro of the D-League, where he averaged 15.2 points, three rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 46 games last season. He started the 2017-18 season with Charlotte of the NBA, averaging 2.4 points in five games before joining Greensboro. Paige finished his college career at the University of North Carolina, to which he led to the NCAA Tournament title game in 2016, averaging 12.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 34 games that season. He started his professional basketball career with Salt Lake City of the D-League, averaging 12.2 points in 46 games in the 2016-17 season.”
