Germani Brescia Leonessa signed guard Marco Ceron to a one-year deal, the club announced Wednesday.
26-year-old Ceron arrives from Consultinvest VL Pesaro, where he averaged 6.8 points in 29 Italian League games last season.
Ceron started his career with Benetton Treviso and also played for Umana Reyer Venice, La Fortezza Recanati, Nuovo Napoli Basket and SBS Castelletto Ticino before joining Pesaro in 2015. He has also been a member of the Italian U16, U18, and U20 national teams. Ceron helped Italy win a silver medal at the 2011 U20 European Championships.
“We welcome Marco Ceron, who will arrive in Brescia with a lot of energy and motivation,” Brescia president Graziella Bragaglio said. “The possibility of playing an important role will depend on his desire to do well but we expect that the optimism around our team can allow him to grow as a player and contribute to our project.”
