Vitaly Fridzon has joined Lokomotiv Kuban on a two-year deal, the Russian club announced. Fridzon had officially parted ways with CSKA Moscow earlier today, following a five-year stint with the “Army Men”.
In his five years with CSKA, Fridzon won the EuroLeague title of 2016, plus five VTB League and Russian League titles. He also climbed to the first place of the VTB League all-time scoring leaders, a spot where he currently stands with 2171 points.
Lokomotiv will be the fourth team for Fridzon who has spent the entirety of his career so far in Russia, mostly with Khimki Moscow (2004-2013). Next season he will return to EuroCup, the competition he won with Khimki back in 2012.
