Cedevita is signing Spanish power forward Pablo Aguilar to a two-year a deal, according to Eurohoops sources. This will be Aguilar’s first venture outside of Spain.

Aguilar, 29, spent the three season with Gran Canaria. In 2017-2018, he helped the team reach the ACB semifinals and thus get a ticket to EuroLeague for the first time in the history of the club, by averaging 7 points and 4 rebounds per game.

In the 2017-2018 EuroCup, Aguilar posted 7.5 points and 4.7 rebounds averaging 19:45 minutes per game. The Spanish player will continue playing in EuroCup next season, along with the ABA League and Croatian League. Cedevita will fight to defend its trophy in the latter.

In his new team, Aguilar will play under Spanish head coach Sito Alonso.
