The Serb big man moves from Belgrade to Italy.

As it was reported three days ago, Nikola Jovanovic is the new addition to the roster of Italian club Trento.

Per the EuroCup press release:

Dolomiti Energia Trento added depth to its frontcourt by bringing in power forward Nikola Jovanovic for the upcoming season, the club announced on Thursday. Jovanovic (2.11 meters, 24 years old) will be playing for Trento while on loan from the Serbian powerhouse Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade. Last season, Jovanovic made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Zvezda, appearing in 16 games and averaging 3.6 points and 2.8 rebounds. He also posted 4.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in the Adriatic League, plus 5.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in the Serbian League. Jovanovic grew up with Crvena Zvezda and played for its youth categories before going playing three years at the University of Southern California. He turned pro in 2016, and spent his first professional season in the G-League with Grand Rapids and Westchester, averaging 9.2 points and 6.6 rebounds. Jovanovic is now set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
