Isaiah Whitehead scored 18 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists, as Lokomotiv Kuban topped Bayern Munich 84 – 74 in the semifinal of “Expert Jacob Cup” preseason tournament, held in Bayreuth Germany.
JaJuan Johnson had 16 points, Jamel McLean added 14 plus five rebounds and Timofei Gerasimov finished with 12 points. Dorell Wright posted 13 rebounds to go with his five points.
For Bayern Munich, Petteri Koponen put up 21 points and six assists, Devin Booker 13 points and eight rebounds while Nihad Dedovic scored 12.
Lokomotiv Kuban will face Brose Bamberg in the tournament’s Final. The Bavarians beat medi Bayreuth 93 – 65 behind 19 points by Tyrese Rice and 18 by Arnoldas Kulboka.
