Alba Berlin will have to cope without center Dennis Clifford who for the upcoming weeks since the player is out with a patellar tendon inflammation.

ALBA Berlin big man Dennis Clifford could miss the 7DAYS EuroCup opener against Tofas Bursa on October 2 due to an injury that will have him sidelined for several weeks. Clifford (2.13 meters, 26 years old) suffers an inflammation on the patellar tendon and will have to be out for a few weeks, even if the club has not specified exactly how many. Last season, Clifford averaged 9.6 points and 5.9 rebounds in 16 EuroCup games with ALBA. Clifford adds his name to a list of missing names in ALBA preseason due to different circumstances: Josiko Saibou, Niels Giffey, Johannes Thiemann, Rokas Giedraitis and Martin Hermannsson.
