After spending his entire career in Europe, Travis Peterson decided to call it quits.

European basketball veteran Travis Peterson announced that he decided to retire from basketball at age 33.

Peterson posted a message at his Instagram profile citing the reasons why he chose to put an end to his career.

Since 2008 when he began playing professional basketball, Peterson was a member for various European teams such as Valencia, Obradoiro and Hapoel Jerusalem. He last played in Lithuania with Lietuvos Rytas.

Among Peterson’s distinctions are the 2017 Israeli League title with Hapoel Jerusalem and the 2011 Bulgarian league title with Lukoil Academic.
