Cedevita Zagreb announced that head coach Sito Alonso has been replaced by Slaven Rimac. The latter was previously the coach of Cedevita’s squad (Cedevita B) in the Croatian League.

Alonso, the former coach of Baskonia and Barcelona, is fired with Cedevita being 2-2 in EuroCup and 1-3 in the ABA League. He had signed a 2+1 contract with the team in June.

This is just one of the many changes that Cedevita undergoes on all levels since former head coach Veljko Mrsic replaces Matej Mamic at the GM position and owner Emil Tedeschi is taking over from Mladen Veber as president of the Croatian club.
