Andrea Trinchieri seems to be the frontrunner to take charge of Partizan’s head coach position, to replace former head coach Nenad Canak who resigned this past Friday.
The Italian coach met with the team’s President, Ostoja Mijailovic, in Belgrade, as the latter confirmed with a photo posted on his social media.
Mijailovic broke the news of a possible deal that could be announced in the following days with a hashtag on the photo caption that reads “we are ready”.
Trinchieri is set to return to coaching action after parting ways with Brose Bamberg in February.
