Lokomotiv Kuban and coach Sasa Obradovic have parted ways, the team announced Sunday, while assistant coach Vlada Jovanovic is expected to replace him in charge of the team’s bench.
Obradovic thanked the Russian club, with which he was named EuroCup Coach of the Year (2018):
“Being a trainer of Lokomotiv was an honor for me. I would like to thank all the people who worked at the club, the coaches and the great fans who supported me all the time and helped me feel at home. It seems to me that we experienced many wonderful moments together, most of the time showed excellent basketball and enjoyed the game. I will keep Krasnodar in my heart.”
