Martin Hermannsson will miss several weeks of action due to a ligament tear in his right ankle, per 7DAYS EuroCup. The 24-year-old is now the newest member of ALBA Berlin injury list. The German team was already without Peyton Siva and Joshiko Saibou in both 7DAYS EuroCup and easyCredit BBL.
The Icelandic national got hurt during ALBA last EuroCup match, the one with Tofas Bursa, as he took a hard fall after a layup. The medical tests that followed revealed the seriousness of his injury. He had started in five of the German club’s six first games in EuroCup averaging 12.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.2 steals.
