Jordan Crawford, former NBA player, is officially a member of ALBA Berlin’s roster.

Reports on ALBA Berlin agreement with Jordan Crawford surfaced yesterday. Today the signing was confirmed via the German team’s announcement.

The 30-year-old American guard signed a monthly contract. Injury woes in Aíto García Reneses’ squad forced the Germans to pick up on extra wing player ahead of their next games in the 7DAYS EuroCup and easyCredit BBL.

Crawford has played 294 NBA matches and has also shown his talents in China, but ALBA will be his first European club. Commenting on his new team, he said: “Everything happened very fast. I just got the offer and I’m here”.

He added: “I’ll play in Europe for the first time and it will be an exciting experience. I learned about ALBA and I know we have a great team here, which is winning a lot of games right now. I’m looking forward to practice with the team, play and hopefully win”.
