Limoges got the big 98-92 road win in Bursa against Tofas, both teams are now tied with a 3-6 record and their fate will be decided on the last round of the Group B in the 7DAYS EuroCup regular season. It has to be noted that the French club has the tie-breaker against the Turks and needs to beat Arka Gdynia at home next week in order to advance.

It wasn’t easy for the winners. Limoges started the game leading by 28-22 at the start of the first quarter and still had a one-point advantage at halftime (47-46). Tofas got a 68-61 lead during the third period, but the two teams entered the last quarter tied at 68.

Thanks to a 13-5 run Tofas built again an eight-point lead (81-73) after Diante Garrett scored his 14th point, before finishing the game with 16. However, once more Limoges reacted and with 90 seconds left, the guests were up by three (91-88) with Williams Howard scoring 19 points.

Sammy Mejia cut the lead to one (91-90) for Tofas, Jordan Taylor answered with a made bucket (93-90) as both players scored 21 points each in total and Axel Bouteille sealed the deal for Limoges with one more three (96-90).  Bouteille finished the game with 16.

Meanwhile, already qualified ALBA Berlin (7-2) beat Arka Gdynia (1-8) on the road with the final score being 76-64. After this result, the hosts lost any chance for a Top 16 ticket.  ALBA got the win with ease behind 18 points by Niels Giffey and 16 by Luka Sikma. Also, Payton Siva returned to action with 14 points and 10 assists.

The last game of the 9th round for this group between Lokomotiv Kuban and Cedevita will be played on Wednesday. Both teams have been also qualified to Top 16.
