Morabanc Andorra played with fire, ratiopharm Ulm got the 88-80 win in Group A, but despite losing by eight points, the guests secured their Top 16 spot in the 7Days EuroCup.

The hosts had the lead for most of the game, however, Andorra was right behind them, trailing by three after the first quarter (22-19), tied at halftime (43-43) and down by five at the end of the third (66-61).

With three minutes left, after a three by David Kraemer, Ulm got a five-point advantage (80-75). There was no coming back for Andorra after that. Patrick Miller with six straight points made the score 88-78 and he completed the game with 20.

However, Dylan Ennis made the final score 88-80 and Andorra qualified mathematically to Top 16 thanks to this shot. If the final point difference was nine or more points, Andorra would have to wait for the other results of this round. Ennis finished the night with 17 points and Andorra has a 5-4 record, while Ulm remains hopeful of a Top 16 ticket, having a 4-5 record.

Αfter this result Crvena Zvezda (4-4) may also qualify to the Top 16 tomorrow should the Serbs defeat Germani Brescia Leonessa (3-5) and at the same time Galatasaray (3-5) loses in Monaco.
