Last year’s Euroleague Final Four MVP Tyrese Rice led Khimki in the 76-75 road win over Valencia in the first leg of their two games quarterfinal series for Eurocup. Rice scored 27 points and turned the game into his personal affair.

Khimki had a 41-35 lead after the first half, a 13 points advantage at the end of the third quarter (65-52) but in the end Valencia came back in the game with a partial 23-11 score in the last period. Still with a 76-73 advantage for Khimki after a bucket by Rice, the best that Valencia could do was cut the final points difference to one, keeping its hopes alive for the second game.
