Andrea Trinchieri thinks that a trip to Morava would benefit his players’… shooting efficiency.

Partizan head coach Andrea Trinchieri was disappointed with his team being unable to finish what it started by nearly coming back from a 21-point deficit vs. Monaco.

“Congratulations to Monaco. They played an extremely solid game. The truth is that they put us on a school bus and drove around Belgrade for 40 minutes. They played smart. We didn’t play smart. But we had a great, great comeback and just a couple of details didn’t give us the chance to win the game,” Trinchieri said in the post-game presser.

Trinchieri also joked on what could help with his players’ shooting after a question regarding the Partizan backcourt not making the open 3-pointers that Monaco gave them.

“I think I will put everybody on the bus tomorrow and we’ll go to Morava (a river in Serbia). We’ll put our hands in Morava and then we’ll make all our shots. Jokes aside, you know how it’s done? Come on, 500 shots tomorrow and then we’ll see if the ball goes in or out. There’s no other way. You want to make the shot? Then practice.”
