Partizan Belgrade beat AS Monaco 68 – 71 on the road and grabbed its second win in four games of the EuroCup Top 16.

Alex Renfroe scored 20 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists en route to leading Partizan to win, making up for his six turnovers. Vanja Marinkovic added 13 points plus seven rebounds and Marcus Paige 11 points.

The Serbian team got a bit of a “revenge” by Monaco for losing at home (68-72) in Round 3 and could’ve had the tiebreaking advantage too if Nikola Jankovic didn’t miss what looked like a quite easy layup at the buzzer.

Before the final seconds, Sergii Gladyr had made 3/3 from the line for Monaco that salvaged what it could from the defeat by retaining the tiebreaker. Paul Lacombe had 20 points and seven rebounds while Elmedin Kikanovic added 10 points and five assists for the Monegasques that are 2-2 in Group E.
