LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne is undefeated in the 7DAYS EuroCup Top16 and has secured a spot in the playoffs, but will continue its campaign for glory without Alpha Kaba for at least three months.

The 22-year-old forward/center was out until Round 9 of the Regular Season due to an elbow injury he suffered in late August. In this occasion, he picked up a shoulder injury during his team’s recent Jeep ELITE Day 18 matchup.

Just a few weeks after his return, Kaba won’t go through surgery, but will have his arm immobilized for at least six weeks and will also need total rest for at least three months.

In his six appearances in the EuroCup this season, he averaged 9.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals in over 21 minutes on court.
