It was a close game decided on the last seconds and when all was said and done, ALBA Berlin got the 79-75 win over Unicaja Malaga and advanced to the semifinals of the EuroCup.

Luka Sikma with 14 points and Peyton Siva with 15 and also ten assists led a balanced effort, however, it was Johannes Thiemann and Rokas Giedriatis with two steals in the final seconds that secured the result.

With 11 seconds left on the clock, Sasu Salin missed the chance to tie the score at 78 and then Mathias Lessort got the offensive rebound but turned over the ball.

Ironically those two players were the top scorers of Unicaja with Salin finishing the game with 17 points and five made threes, while Lessort had 18 and six rebounds.

It was a close game from wire to wire with the guests entering the last period leading by two (64-62) and then by eight (73-65), seven minutes before the final buzzer, but Alba responded with a 9-0 run, turned things around and got the last laugh.
