Unics Kazan signed forward Dmitri Uzinskii to a one-year contract with an option for another season, the club announced Thursday.
Per 7DAYS EuroCup, Uzinskii (2.00 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Nizhny Novgorod, where he averaged 6.4 points on 40% three-point shooting and 3.2 rebounds in 22 VTB League games this season. He started his career with Spartak Primorie Vladivostok and also played for PSK Sakhalin Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk before joining Nizhny in 2016.
He made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Nizhny in the 2016-17 season, averaging 1.9 points in 9 games and helped Nizhny reach the Russian Cup final in each of the last two seasons.
