Unicaja Malaga is looking into the market for centers ahead of the 2019-20 season. According to Diario Sur, the Spanish side is considering adding Deon Thompson and letting Mathias Lessort go only one year after acquiring the 23-year-old French big.

Lessort averaged 11 points and 5.4 rebounds during the 2018-19 7DAYS EuroCup season, had 8.3 points and 5.4 rebounds in the ACB as well. His contribution was positive to say the least. However, Malaga might prefer a more experienced player for his spot in the squad.

EuroLeague teams might have the young French forward/center on their radar ahead of the 2019-20 season. The player himself is in front of a decision, so is Unicaja that is already considering adding Thompson.

The 30-year-old American forward is coming off a strong 2018-19 campaign split between San Pablo Burgos and Zalgiris Kaunas. He averaged 4.7 points and 3.1 rebounds in EuroLeague with the Lithuanian team.
