Unicaja Malaga is considering signing Partizan Belgrade guard Vanja Marinkovic to a three-year deal according to Eurohoops sources.
Marinkovic, 22, has one year remaining on the two-year contract extension he signed with Partizan in 2018. Any club that wants to acquire the player must pay a buyout sum of 200.000 to the Serbian club.
The Sacramento Kings own Marinkovic’s NBA rights after selecting the Serbian player with the 60th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Marinkovic averaged 12.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 29:07 minutes in 16 EuroCup games in 2018-2019. He posted 12.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 27.7 minutes in 23 games of the ABA League.
