Limoges CSP signed Ovidijus Varanauskas for the 2019-20 season, the French team announced on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Lithuanian point guard is now set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
He will make his return to France as well after his 2017-18 stint with SPO Rouen Basket. The Rytas Vilinius youth academy product has also played professionally in Poland, Italy and Latvia aside his native Lithuania.
Varanauskas kicked off his 2018-19 campaign with Skycop Prienai and later joined Trefl Sopot. He notched 8.2 points and 3.9 assists per game over 17 LKL appearances and followed up with 12.5 points and 3 assists per contest in 13 PLK matches.
