Partizan Belgrade announced that the club has extended guard Aleksej Nikolic’s contract for one more year (until 2022) and will loan the player to Universo Treviso for the 2019-2020 season.

Nikolic, 24, will spend the upcoming season playing in the Italian Serie A League for the first time in his career. Treviso was promoted to Italy’s first division at the end of 2019.

In 2018-2019, Nikolic averaged 8.3 points, 2.6 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 20:59 minutes over 16 EuroCup games. The Slovenian player had 6.4 points, 2.3 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 19.5 minutes over 21 games in the ABA League.
