Galatasaray announced the signing of 26-year-old Greg Whittington for the upcoming season. He arrives at the Turkish club from Israeli side Hapoel Galil Gilboa.
Whittington started his professional career in 2015 with Sioux Falls Skyforce, Miami Heat‘s G-League team. In the 2015-16 G-League season, he posted an average of 13.8 points, 8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.1 steals. That season, he won the G-League title with the team, while he was named in the Best Rookie Five.
In summer 2016, he signed a contract with Sydney Kings, before moving to Japan the following season.
