Unicaja Malaga saw its 18-point lead getting decreased to five by Galatasaray with one minute left to play before ultimately getting an 88 – 83 win at home to remain the only spotless team in Group D of the EuroCup regular season.

Galatasaray fell behind 78 – 60 in the mid of the fourth period but came back to make it a two-possession game, 82 – 77 with 1:13 remaining. Josh Adams drained a big triple for Malaga, Aaron Harrison answered with the same currency and then an offensive rebound by Frank Elegar with 26 seconds left, more or less, sealed the win for the hosts.

Axel Toupane scored a game-high 22 points for Malaga. Volodymyr Gerun dropped 13 points, Adam Waczynski 11 while Adams finished with 11 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Harrison (20 points, six assists, four rebounds), Tal Webster (14 points) and Zach Auguste (13 points, six rebounds) finished in double-digit figures for Galatasaray. This was the first loss in the EuroCup season for the Turkish squad.
