Joventut Badalona signed Perrin Buford, the Spanish team announced on Friday. Shortly after Shawn Dawson went down to injury, his team reacted securing relief for Carles Duran’s squad through the 25-year-old American swingman.
Since launching his professional career, Buford has moved his talents to Russia, Turkey and Italy, competed in Puerto Rico and Australia as well. Most recently signed with the Fujian Sturgeons ahead of the 2019-20 CBA season.
The new Badalona player is set to debut in 7DAYS EuroCup one season following his first-ever European club competition appearance with Avtodor Saratov from the Basketball Champions League to FIBA Europe Cup.
As for his performances, Buford notched 13 points per contest in the BCL qualifiers, went on with 16.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4 assists per game in Europe Cup. In the VTB United League, he notched 16.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per match.
The Spanish team is currently 3-2 in EuroCup’s Group C, also carries a 2-4 ACB W-L tally.
