In a game of ups and downs for both teams, Darussafaka had the last laugh.

Darussafaka Tekfen found themselves trailing in the fourth period after giving up a 15-point first-half lead against Nanterre but made a superb finish in the game to win 82 – 62 in France.

This result improves Darussafaka’s record to 4-3 and also hands them an advantage in a potential tie with Nanterre, since the Turkish team had also won in Istanbul. Nanterre is 2-5 and currently out of the qualification zone.

Johnathan Hamilton (17 points, six rebounds) and Bonzie Colson (17 points) were the top performers for Darussafaka along with Kartal Omzriak (13 points, seven assists) Doron Lamb added 14 points.

Kenny Cherry (18 points) was the only Nanterre player in double figures. The French team went up 63 – 61 in the fourth quarter only for Dacka to react with a 0-11 run that put them up 63 – 72 with three minutes remaining. The hosts were unable to come back.
