Cedevita Olimpija beat German Brescia Leonessa 73 – 62 in Round 8 of the EuroCup regular season to improve its record to 3-5 and retain its qualification hopes. The Slovenian side would face elimination with a loss plus a Joventut Badalona win in Istanbul.

Brescia, that could’ve advanced with a victory and a combination of other results, dropped to 4-4.

Ryan Boatright (14 points, six assists) and Codi Terrel-McIntyre (14 points, seven rebounds) led the winning efforts of Cedevita. Mikael Hopkins added 12 points and Filip Kruslin 11.

For Brescia, Kenneth Horton dropped a team-high 13 points (4/14 shots). Awudu Abass (10 points, seven rebounds), David Moss (10 points) and DeAndre Landsdowne also scored in double figures.
