Buducnost Voli traveled to Poland to play a “do-or-die” game against Asseco Gdynia for Round 8 of the EuroCup regular season. The Montenegrin team would be eliminated with a loss and ultimately prevailed 78 – 61 to remain capture its second win this season and stay relevant in Group D.

Justin Cobbs (17 points, four assists), Hassan Martin (14 points, nine rebounds), Nikola Ivanovic (12 points) and Suad Sehovic (11 points) scored in double figures for Buducnost.

Gdynia fell to 3-5. Leyton Hammonds finished with 11 points and eight rebounds.

The win of Buducnost was a much welcome result also to EWE Oldenburg that advanced to the next round after also beating Dolomiti Energia Trento 108 – 88 at home behind 31 points and five rebounds by Tyler Larson.

Gerry Blakes added 22 points for Oldenburg that improved to 5-3.

Trento fell to 3-5. James Blackmon dropped 25 points and grabbed six rebounds while Justin Knox had 15 points and nine boards.
