Lazeric Jones suffered a meniscus tear in his left knee during practice and will undergo surgery which will put him out of commission for around eight weeks, Galatasaray Doga Sigrota announced.

The 29-year-old American has been averaging 7.3 points and 4.1 assists over 13 games this season in 7DAYS EuroCup and the Turkish League.

Per Galatasaray Doga Sigorta:

Lazeric Jones, a player of Galatasaray Doğa Sigorta Men’s Basketball Team, suffered an injury in his left knee during the training on 01.12.2019.

Further investigations revealed an internal meniscus tear in the left knee of Lazeric Jones. Our player will have an operation on his left knee and the rehabilitation process will begin. This process is expected to take approximately 8 weeks.

We wish to get past our wishes to our player and hope that he will regain his health as soon as possible.
