Brescia defeated Darussafak Tekfen 70 – 61 in Istanbul to make a decisive step towards qualifying in the EuroCup Top 16. The Italian side can advance this round with a combination of results.
Despite the loss, Darussafaka became the first team from Group C to punch a Top 16 ticket. The hosts were basically with one foot already in the next stage since only a loss with 35 points would steal them qualification in this round.
Awudu Abass (14 points, five rebounds, four assists), Andrea Zerini (13 points) and DeAndre Lansdowne (12 points, six assists and five rebounds) were the top contributors for Brescia.
Sinan Guler (16 points) and Jordan Hamilton (12 points, 12 rebounds) were the best that Dacka had to offer.
