Partizan Belgrade is signing former two-time NBA champion James McAdoo. The American forward officially parted ways with Besiktas on Tuesday (7/1) and is already registered on Partizan’s roster in EuroCup Basketball’s website.

McAdoo averaged 10.9 points and 9.3 rebounds in 26.4 minutes over ten games with Besiktas in the Basketball Champions League. He had 8.5 points and 6.6 rebounds in 20.8 minutes over 11 Turkish BSL League games.

He’s expected to make his debut with Partizan against Virtus Bologna in the EuroCup Top 16 opener Wednesday (8/1).

Partizan looked to acquire Joffrey Lauvergne from Fenerbahce Beko. Yet the French big man’s contract was way too large for Partizan.

Sportando first reported the interest of Partizan for McAdoo.
