For the second consecutive year, the Eurohoops Nafplio Basketball Camp was the ultimate destination for young athletes looking to take their game to the next level during their summer break. The participants, who traveled to Nafplio from various parts of Greece and abroad, not only engaged in an intensive training program but also got to experience one of Greece’s most beautiful cities. The Nafplio Indoor Sports Hall—kindly made available by the Municipality of Nafplio—served as the base for the children and coaches. However, immediately after their demanding training sessions on the court, they had the opportunity to explore the picturesque town of Nafplio, admire historical landmarks with the Bourtzi and Palamidi fortresses as a backdrop, and have fun with their teammates.
Staying in Nafplio provided the ideal setting for building strong bonds among teammates. In fact, the children who visited the country’s first historic capital spoke about their experience and shared special stories regarding their stay and their time at the Eurohoops Nafplio Basketball Camp! “It’s a demanding training session, and I like that. I’m having a great time because I really enjoyed making new friends, while it’s also an opportunity to practice basketball,” said one of the young participants. “My experience was excellent: the food was fantastic, and we had plenty of time to rest. The training sessions are tough but very dynamic,” emphasized the athlete who traveled from Romania.
Nafplio proved to be the ideal summer basketball destination, and the Eurohoops Nafplio Basketball Camp is becoming a summer act ivity you simply cannot miss.
