The two EuroLeague legends were interviewed by Arale Weisberg and when the topic of discussion was Luka Doncic, both of them talked also about what his absence from the old continent means for European basketball.

“I would love to see Doncic for more years in Europe, as a fan”, said Diamantidis who notoriously never wanted to leave European basketball and Papaloukas, who had the chance to play in the NBA but also declined it, added: “European basketball and the EuroLeague must find a way to keep the young talented players in Europe”.
