Valencia updates the status of Sam Van Rossom following his early exit from Friday’s game.

Valencia’s Sam Van Rossom picked up a left hamstring injury during Friday’s EuroLeague Regular Season Round 22 home affair versus Panathinaikos OPAP, the Spanish club announced on Saturday. He lasted 1:43 before his early exit in the first quarter.

He is expected to miss his team’s upcoming affairs with Bilbao visiting on Sunday prior to double-game week action in Europe’s premier club competition. Further evaluation will determine his recovery timetable.

Through 14 EuroLeague appearances this season has posted averages of 6.9 points, 4.6 dimes and 2.1 rebounds helping Valencia to its 11-11 W-L tally.

As for his tenth ACB campaign, the Belgian point guard has 7.8 points, 4.1 assists and 1.5 boards per contest. His side is up 10-9 in seventh place.
