Nik Stauskas became the talk of the Real Madrid – Baskonia game for all the wrong reasons and Twitter reacted appropriately.
After Shavon Shields tied the game at 69 with a layup, Stauskas – in what can be described as an absolutely inexplicable move – made an intentional foul on Facundo Campazzo with just three seconds remaining. The latter scored one free throw which was enough to hand Real Madrid the win.
