Sergio Rodriguez picked up an injury during Friday’s game between Olimpia Milano and Barcelona, the Italian club announced on Saturday. El Chacho is set to go through further medical tests next week.

Per Olimpia Milano: “During the EuroLeague’s Barcelona game, Sergio Rodriguez suffered a slight injury to his left thigh muscle. The player will be re-evaluated at the beginning of next week.”

The 33-year-old point guard actually led his team in EuroLeague Regular Season Round 24 with 14 points despite getting injured. Nevertheless, Ettore Messina’s team did not escape defeat in Spain and the fall to 11-13.

In LBA Serie A has 12.9 points, 4.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds, but is set to miss Sunday’s home match versus Vanoli Cremona.
