The Lithuanian Ministry of Health expressed its concerns about Friday’s game between Zalgiris Kaunas and AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan, due to a coronavirus outbreak in Italy, but EuroLeague plans and expects the Regular Season Round 26 match to take place as scheduled, per Eurohoops sources.

Many factors out of EuroLeague’s control might come into play and overturn the current belief for the match. However, a few days ahead of the contest at Lithuania no changes have occurred, so the plan is for the game to tip off normally.

Meanwhile, in Italy and especially in the area near Milano, health safety reasons are preventing spectators from attending sporting activities with the contests in question being held behind closed doors. As for LBA Serie A, no decision has been made for the games scheduled within the next days.
