Crvena Zvezda is scheduled to clash with Baskonia on Thursday (27/2) in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and they will do it with Andrija Gavrilovic as the head coach.

Dragan Sakota confirmed that he won’t be able to travel with the team to Spain due to health problems which have been aggravated by the recent busy schedule: “I have vein inflammation in the left leg which is the consequence of these constant travels. It’s a problem that will be solved but the temporary measure is that I don’t travel with the team to Baskonia,” Sakota told the press before Zvezda’s practice, per Sportklub.

He also noted that he has been preparing the game together with Gavrilovic and that his absence won’t influence the squad too much.

Zvezda currently holds a 10-15 record in Euroleague at the 13th spot while Baskonia is behind, at the 15th place with 9-16.
