Euroleague had decided long ago that one of the wildcards for next season will be given to France and that’s confirmed by the president of Limoges Frederic Forte.
As he wrote on twitter, confirming a report by “L’ Equipe”, Euroleague asked already from Limoges to present the proper paperwork in order to get a wildcard, if the team doesn’t win the French ProA league title, which equals a spot in the top European competition. The only question left at this point is if Limoges gets the championship title which French club will get the wildcard, with finalists Strasbourg probably being the next candidate.
