The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 29 game between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Baskonia will be played in neutral ground and not in Tel Aviv as initially scheduled, for safety reasons after the coronavirus outbreak, as the Israeli club announced.

“The latest period is new to everyone and requires preparation from moment to moment and at any given time. We study the conditions and the implications for the games, the teams that are supposed to be hosted in Israel and our fans and will issue updates”, per the announcement.

As mentioned on one.co.il, Baskonia may not be allowed to enter Israel, after the latest safety measures issued by the Israeli Ministry of Health.

The two teams will face each other in neutral territory, with the main candidates being Cyprus, Greece and Serbia according to further reports by Moshe Barda.
