The Israeli Ministry of Health has ordered 14-day quarantines for arrivals from Spain plus France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, due to the coronavirus outbreak.

However, Maccabi contacted the government in an effort to make an exception for their Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game on Thursday (12/2) and allow Baskonia to enter the country.

The Israeli team succeeded and the Spaniards will be allowed to enter Israel but under the Ministry of Health’s Coronavirus regulations and restrictions, the club announced. It’s still not known whether the fans will be allowed to attend or will a certain number be allowed as gatherings of more than 5,000 people have been banned.
