The EuroLeague Board will have a conference call meeting on Wednesday to discuss recent developments and the coronavirus pandemic impact on the 2019-20 season. Travel restrictions imposed all around Europe prevent a normal meeting prompting a conference call instead.

Making concrete decisions will be tough considering extreme circumstances. However, the EuroLeague Board is expected to confirm further suspending the current Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup seasons. April 11 was the date initially set as the earliest for action to resume.

EuroLeague fully intends to conclude the seasons, as previously stated. Alternative formats to finish the 2019-20 season may also be discussed during the conference call. However, any decision will depend on the season return date, which itself depends on the health safety of players and fans.

Salaries according to the contracts signed are also expected to be among the topics of the conference call. Financial issues are included in the effect of the hiatus expected to be extended by several weeks.
