Maccabi Tel Aviv will accept the decision that will be made by EuroLeague and ELPA (EuroLeague Players Association) regarding the pay reduction that will be proposed to clubs in light of the competition’s suspension.

“What is decided between the EuroLeague and the players will also apply to us,” Maccabi longtime president Simon Mizrahi said to Israeli website One. EuroLeague has been in hiatus since March 12.

According to One, the players of Maccabi have been paid their March salaries in full. What is currently unknown is the amount of the reduction of their wages for April and the remainder of the season. This percentage will be determined by what EuroLeague and ELPA will decide and the amount is expected to be ranging from 20% to 30%

Misko Raznatovic, one of the major agents in European basketball, said that the optimal salary cut would be 15%, in an article posted on his agency’s website.
