Milan was one of the cities that suffered the most from the COVID-19 pandemic, however, as AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan announced, from this Saturday players will be able to practice again under certain conditions.
According to the press release: “The Olimpia Milan basketball team announced today that voluntary, individual workouts, gradually, will resume on Saturday, May 9, for all the players who are currently in Milan. At this time, there are no plans to resume team activity”.
It has to be noted that with few exceptions, most non-Italian players have left the city. However, with the Italian league officially canceling the season, the decision to return to practices even on an individual level can be also seen as the first step of preparation for a possible return to action in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
