Crvena Zvezda announced that all the players, staff and part of management that were tested last week are negative for COVID-19.
However, the club also stated that despite the good news, the general physical condition of players is worrisome. Results of the blood and urine analysis show that the players’ immunity isn’t at a satisfying level. There has been a decrease in muscle mass as well as aerobic capacities.
With the above-mentioned results, the team will slowly begin the training process starting tomorrow, May 12, in open courts.
Zvezda noted that they are expecting the same amount of responsibility from other clubs and that “without everyone’s responsibility, we believe that there is no point in going back on the court and risking the health of all the players in a basketball game.”
