Barcelona and Malcolm Delaney have reached an agreement to end their contractual relationship, as the team announced Thursday.

The player is currently in the United States, while Barcelona is back to individual practices following a nearly two-month break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Delaney’s current contract with the team would end on June 22, with a player option for the next season. There were talks between the two sides for a possible extension, however, this is not the case anymore.

The American guard posted 10.2 points and 4.8 assists in 26 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague during the 2019-20 season, prior to the lockdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

As Eurohoops had reported Milan and Olympiacos are interested in his case, something that the player himself confirmed. According to newer information, AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan is expected to by the next stop in his European career with a new multiyear deal.
