Misko Raznatovic announced on Saturday that Davide Moretti is the BeoBasket’s latest new client signaling the launch of the 22-year-old Italian forward’s professional career.

Moretti, son of retired player and current coach Paolo, is coming off three NCAA seasons with Texas Tech. His 2019-20 run featured 13 points per game adding on his 9.1 points per game over his 106 career appearances with the Red Raiders.

Based on the official announcement of the Serbian sports agent and founder of the BeoBasket agency, Raznatovic, the promising upstart decided to skip his senior NCAA season and take on professional status. His probable first destination is AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan.

At Texas Tech, Moretti established himself as a sophomore. He started in all 38 games of the 2018-19 season, earned third-team All-Big 12 recognition, and led his college all the way to the championship game against Virginia. His junior year was cut short, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
